The "Ultra C" has the same high quality material and construction as the "Ultra", with an added plus, an activated carbon pad which acts as a molecular magnet attracting and holding odor and contaminants.

According to ASRAE, (The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning Engineers), there are over 200 different contaminants in the average household environment.

Activated Carbon is recognized to absorb many of these problems in the indoor environment. Odors and Gases attach to the outside surface of the granules of carbon. The "Ultra C" is UL Approved, Flammability-Class 2.

The "Ultra C" should be cleaned every 30 - 45 days as per cleaning instructions. The carbon pad can not be washed. Remove the carbon pad before washing, then replace the carbon pad when dry. Cleaning Instructions

The inexpensive carbon pad should be replaced every 3-6 months or as odors re-occur.
